Setup Crew

These guys show up early at each match to make your day!

Every match, this group of dedicated volunteers shows up early to load the trailers and transport all the equipment and props to the bays. Once at the bays, the equipment and props must be unloaded to the bays where they set up the course of fire according to the predesigned stage description. Afterward, they help breakdown the stages, load the equipment and props on the trailers, and return them to the Alpha Mike storage area. Without these guys, the matches would not happen. Remember...Alpha Mike is all-volunteer, like most USPSA clubs. Alpha Mike does not charge a membership fee. Your assistance in setting up the stages, and tearing down and stowing the props following the match is always appreciated.  

DISCOUNT! The setup crew receives a substantial discounted match fee. All that is required is that you show up at the main gate at or before 8:00AM match day, and participate actively in the setup and preparation of the match. You also assist in the tear down and storage following the match. (The main gate is only opened once, right at 8:00AM, for entry by the setup crew, so don't be late.) Although not required, a head's-up email to Alpha Mike to let us know we can count on your assistance is always appreciated. Note: This offer is subject to change without notice.

SPECIAL NOTE: All crew members are urged to wear gloves for safety. Remember, you must assist the full two-hour setup to qualify for the discount, or until ALL setup is completed and checked. That includes securing all targets and walls, fixing fault lines and placement of buckets with appropriated contents for each stage. Members that quit prior to completion will not receive the discount. Sorry guys...but, we need everyone's full cooperation in order to be ready to shoot by 10:00AM as we have promised the shooters.  Be sure to check in with the registrar, usually Art or Bob, after entering at 8:00AM so he can add you to the list for your discount.
