| Match Information
Alpha Mike Shooters is an IPSC
(USPSA affiliated) club that hosts matches on
the 3rd Sunday of every month at the Cedar Ridge
Range located in the Bulverde (San Antonio) Hill
Country. Alpha Mike is shooter friendly and
welcomes all shooters, from beginners to
experienced.

What to expect
There are always five
challenging stages, varying from six to
thirty-two rounds, and require a minimum of
about 125 rounds of ammo (major or minor loads).
But, bring plenty more (recommend 200 rounds)
for misses and reshoots. Shooters need a pistol
(9mm or higher caliber, revolvers need to be .38
or higher), enough magazines for a 32 round
stage (bring more for extra shots), a good
holster that covers the trigger guard, good eye
and ear protection, and must be prepared to have
a good time. Eye and ear protection are also
required for spectators. All shooters must sign
a liability waiver. We welcome new shooters and
seasoned shooters are always available and more
than willing to assist and instruct you and make
you feel at home.
The gates open at 9:00AM,
signup is at 9:30AM and first shots are fired at
10:00AM, following a brief shooter's meeting.
New shooters will also receive a brief
orientation regarding safe gun handling and
general instructions regarding the range and
match.
Most matches last until
1:30PM...sometimes a little later. All shooters
are expected to help paste and reset targets
during the match, and help tearing down
following the match. This is a all volunteer
club and the more that help, the faster and
easier setup and teardown goes.
Match Fee
The regular match fee is
$20.00, which includes the range fee AND
reporting of classifier scores to USPSA members.
Discounts are available. After the match, follow
us to The Antler Cafe, the official Alpha Mike
recovery station just up the road, for great
food and the coldest ice tea in Texas. You won't
be disappointed in the match, or the food! And,
